Detailed Description Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are the most common bacterial infection in women, with about 50% of women experiencing at least 1 UTI in their lifetime. E. coli which is also known as UPEC (Uro Pathogenic Escherichia coli) are responsible for about 80% of UTIs. In addition, there has been a worldwide trend in the occurrences of fungal UTIs.
