Amlapitta Mishran by Dhootapapeshwar is herbal ayurvedic medicine. It is a digestive medicine that relieves all the symptoms of indigestion. It is a potent antacid that relieves heartburn instantly and also relieves nausea and vomiting. It is also useful in healing ulcers.


Ingredients

  • Vasaka - These leaves are useful in treating digestive problems. The leaves activate the digestive enzyme ‘Trypsin’ (the enzyme required for better digestion). These leaves also have antifungal properties and are useful in skin diseases.
  • Guduchi - It is indicated in conditions like indigestion, excess thirst, acidity, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), dysentery and vomiting. It is a good anti-spasmodic and reduces stomach pain that arises due to intestinal spasms.
  • Nimba - It is useful in removing intestinal worms, helps in curing infected wounds and acts as an antimicrobial agent.
  • Chiraita - It has hepatoprotective properties in abundance. The word hepato-protective is self-explanatory (Hepato - related to liver + protective). It helps to get rid of toxins from the body and also contributes towards a healthy liver. It also helps in the regeneration of new liver cells.
  • Bhringaraj - It also has anti-fibrotic effects, which can help to prevent and treat hepatic fibrosis. It reduces the proliferation of hepatic stellate cells. This effect might be due to its triterpenoids (echinocystic acid) content. Therefore, this herb can also help in the reduction of liver fibrosis and arrest its progress.
