• Wash your hands thoroughly and pat them dry.
• Insert a strip into a Control D Glucometer.
• Use a lancet device to prick your fingertip and obtain a blood sample.
• Apply the blood sample to the test strip.
• Follow the glucometer instructions and wait for the result on the screen.
• Calibrate the meter when starting a new box of test strips.
• Do not squeeze your finger while collecting the blood drop.
