1. What is the main ingredient in Jungle Formula Head Lice Shampoo?

The main ingredient is Permethrin, which is a synthetic pyrethroid similar to naturally occurring pyrethrins. Permethrin lotion 1% is approved by the FDA for the treatment of head lice. Permethrin kills live lice and when used in combination with paraffin oil and also kills unhatched eggs.

2. Will the nits die after the first treatment?
