Medical Description

Amlosafe 3D Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine containing a combination of three medicines - Amlodipine, Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. It is used to treat high blood pressure when single-agent treatment is ineffective.

While taking this medicine, you should be cautious of your diet and should also exercise regularly. Take this medicine in doses and duration as prescribed by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not miss any dose or take it more than that recommended by the doctor.

Amlosafe 3D Tablet should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women because it may harm the developing baby. If you become pregnant while taking Amlosafe 3D Tablet, you should stop taking it immediately and notify your doctor.

Telvas 3D tablet, Telmikind Amh tablet, Tazloc Trio tablet, Telma Amh tablet, Amlosafe 3D tablet and Tah tablet also contain a combination of three medicines - Amlodipine, Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Low blood pressure, dizziness, tiredness, headache, sleepiness, swollen ankles and flushing are the most common side effects of taking Amlosafe 3D Tablet. If any of these side effects worsen, contact your doctor.

Amlosafe 3d Tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure.

Contraindications of AMLOSAFE 3D STRIP OF 7 TABLETS

If you are allergic to Amlodipine, Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide or any other ingredients of Amlosafe 3d Tablet.
If you have low blood pressure.
If you have problems with your liver or kidney.
If you suffer from any heart conditions like shock, irregular heartbeats, heart attack, low pulse or heart output, etc.
If you have diabetes or some kidney issues and are taking medicines containing aliskiren to treat your high blood pressure.
If you are pregnant for more than 3 months.
If you have low potassium, low sodium, high calcium or high uric acid levels in your blood.

Pregnancy

Breast Feeding

Can I take Amlosafe 3d Tablet while breastfeeding?

Components of Amlosafe 3d Tablet pass into breastmilk and may cause harm to the unborn baby. Hence, it is not recommended for use while breastfeeding. Your doctor may suggest an alternative medicine, especially when you are breastfeeding a newborn or premature baby.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Amlosafe 3d Tablet?

You may experience dizziness and visual disturbances like a blurred vision while taking Amlosafe 3d Tablet. Hence, it is advised to avoid driving if you experience any such side effects.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Amlosafe 3d Tablet?

It is unsafe for you to consume alcohol while on treatment with Amlosafe 3d Tablet as it may worsen your side-effects.

Missed a Dose

In case you’ve missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Avoid taking a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
