Tazret gel is a topical medicine, used to treat a skin condition known as plaque psoriasis. It is a condition characterised by red patches on the skin covered with dead skin cells with a whitish appe
arance. It is often painful and itchy. Tazret gel contains tazarotene as the active ingredient. Apply this gel as advised by your doctor. Clean dry the affected skin area before application. Wash your hands before and after applying this gel. Tazret gel is meant to be used externally only.

- Apply sunscreen and wear full covered clothes while going out in sun.
- You are on medicine such as thiazides, tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, phenothiazines, sulfonamides, etc as they may increase the risk of photosensitivity.
- You are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with this gel with eyes, eyelids or mouth. Tazret gel should not be used for children below 18 years of age.

How Does It Work?
Tazarotene in Tazret gel acts by decreasing the inflammation of the skin cells and slowing down the skin cell overgrowth, thus treating psoriasis.
Directions for Use of Tazret 0.05 %
- Use this medicine as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

Storage and disposal of Tazret 0.05 %
- Store at or below 25°C.
- Keep it away from children and pets.
- Do not freeze.
- Recap tightly after each use.
Dosage of Tazret 0.05 %
Overdose
As Tazret gel is meant for external application cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have applied extra quantities of it wipe out the excess of the medicine with tissue or cotton....
Missed a Dose
If you have missed to apply Tazret gel, apply it as soon as possible. Do not over apply this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
