Mode of Action of Farotive Er 300 MG
How Does It Work?
Farotive stops the growth of bacteria and therefore, the bacteria is not able to make a protective layer (cell wall) which is a must for their survival.
Directions for Use of Farotive Er 300 MG
The recommended dosage of Farotive is best decided by a doctor. Swallow it as whole with a glass of water. You should not chew the tablet or break it. Have it whole with a glass of water.
Interactions of Farotive Er 300 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Sodium valproate: Blood concentration of sodium valproate decreases when taken with faropenem
- Imipenem and cilastatin sodium: Imipenem and cilastatin sodium combination with faropenem increases the concentration of faropenem in blood
- Furosemide: Furosemide with faropenem increases kidney toxicity
