Uses of Doloforce Dt 10 MG
- Osteoarthritis (joint disease)
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine)
Contraindications of Doloforce Dt 10 MG
- Allergic to ingredients of Doloforce DT
- History of gastrointestinal disorders, ulcers or bleeding
- History of severe allergic reactions like Steven-Johnson syndrome, Erythema multiforme, or toxic epidermal necrolysis
- Patients on blood thinners
- Severe heart failure
- Patients who are prone to asthma, nasal polyps, angioedema or urticaria on exposure to aspirin or other NSAIDs

Mode of Action of Doloforce Dt 10 MG
How Does It Work?
Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that can prevent fever, reddening, swelling, and pain in the body due to inflammation. The medication acts on various steps of immune response that induce inflammation. It prevents prostanoid synthesis, prostaglandins, neutrophil aggregation, polymorphonuclear cell and monocyte migration to the site of inflammation to inhibit inflammation....
Directions for Use of Doloforce Dt 10 MG
- Always take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. Disperse (disolve) one tablet in one teaspoonful of water immediately before consumption. Please do not swallow or chew the tablets.
Interactions of Doloforce Dt 10 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use with piroxicam may enhance the effects of anticoagulants, such as warfarin
- Concomitant use of piroxicam and acetylsalicylic acid reduces the plasma piroxicam concentration to about 80% of the usual value, causing a decreased effect
- Concomitant use of piroxicam with NSAIDs may increase the risk of cardiac failure, reduce GFR and increase plasma glycoside levels with cardiac glycosides
- Concomitant use of piroxicam with ciclosporin or tacrolimus increases the risk of nephrotoxicity
- Piroxicam can reduce the efficacy of diuretics and other antihypertensive medications, including ACE inhibitors, when administered concomitantly
- Methotrexate administered concurrently with piroxicam may decrease the elimination of methotrexate, resulting in increased plasma levels of methotrexate
