Cocaine is a naturally derived, highly potent nervous system (CNS) stimulant and a local anesthetic. Cocaine is consumed either by chewing, snorting or smoking ; alternatively it may also be injected. The psychological effects induced by using cocaine are euphoria,feeling of confidence , sense of increased energy, and a dissociative state of mind.
