Attera 18 MG Description

Attera tablet is a prescription medicine used to manage attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Its active ingredient is Atomoxetine. The mode of action of the Attera tablet is by increasing

the amount of norepinephrine, a natural substance in the brain that manages the behaviour. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a psychological disorder characterised by difficulty sustaining attention, impulsive behaviour, and hyperactivity. It can happen due to genetics, environment, food additives, alcohol abuse, smoking during pregnancy, etc. Increasing attention and providing a calming effect in ADHD patients is the main use of the Attera tablet. You can take an Attera tablet with or without food. Try to follow your doctor's directions for using the Attera tablet exactly about dosage and duration. Do not alter or stop this medicine without conferring with your doctor. It can exacerbate the symptoms and worsen the disorder. This medication does not cause any withdrawal symptoms when abruptly stopped. It also does not have a propensity to cause dependency.

A: No, Attera tablets do not cause addictive or dependency behaviour in people. It does not alter the level of dopamine in the body, a chemical messenger responsible for dependency behaviour.

Q: Can I stop taking the Attera tablet if I feel better?

A: Stopping the Attera tablet abruptly does not cause any withdrawal side effects. A few studies have shown that symptoms do not reappear if this medicine is stopped. However, do not stop taking Attera tablet without notifying your doctor.

Q: Can the Attera tablet cause addictive behaviour in me?
