Q: When and how to consume the medicine?

A: Linezolid should be taken in the exact dose as advised by the physician. The liquid medicine should be measured in a measuring device and then consumed and should not be taken on approximate measurements. Shake the oral suspension before every use. Do not take more than the recommended dosage of this medicine. Overdose of Linezolid can cause serious problems. Take Linezolid with a full glass of water. Drink plenty of liquids to prevent dehydration. Complete the full course of treatment as advised by the doctor. You will start feeling better within the first few doses but do not stop the medicine in between.

Q: What should I discuss with my healthcare expert before taking Linezolid?

A: Inform the doctor about your detailed medical and surgical history. Inform your physician if you have any kidney or liver disease, adrenal gland tumor, weak immune system, high blood pressure, epilepsy or a history of seizures or stroke, bone marrow suppression, mental illness or diabetes.
