For individuals on prescription thyroid hormone medication, TSH tests are crucial for monitoring levels, especially after thyroid removal or treating hyperthyroidism. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), or thyrotropin, stimulates thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) production, vital for regulating metabolism, heart and digestive processes, muscle control, brain development, and bone maintenance.

During the TSH Test

Once you've scheduled the TSH test, a dedicated phlebotomist will be assigned and will reach the specified location on the assigned date and time.
