Know More About The Package
Overview
The senior women advanced bronze package is a comprehensive health check-up designed for women aged 50 years and above to support healthy ageing and monitor age-related health concerns. By assessing multiple health parameters together, it can help identify laboratory abnormalities that may indicate nutritional deficiencies, metabolic disorders, organ dysfunction, inflammation, and other health conditions that become more common with advancing age.
This package contains 91 tests that assess blood health, blood sugar, cholesterol, liver and kidney function, thyroid health, electrolyte balance, and levels of essential vitamins and minerals. It also includes an advanced thyroid profile, rheumatoid arthritis screening, inflammation marker test, and tumour markers, providing a broader assessment of thyroid function, joint health, inflammation, and selected women’s health conditions. The package may be recommended for women experiencing persistent fatigue, joint pain or stiffness, unexplained weight changes, low energy levels, or other symptoms that may be associated with age-related health conditions. It is equally valuable as a routine preventive health assessment for women who wish to monitor their health regularly after menopause.
The package requires a blood sample and a urine sample, which will be collected from your home by a trained phlebotomist. An overnight fast may be recommended, as some tests included in the package are best performed in the fasting state. Your doctor will interpret the results in the context of your symptoms, medical history, and other investigations to provide a comprehensive assessment of your health and recommend appropriate treatment, lifestyle modifications, or further evaluation, if required.

Who Should Book the Senior Women Advanced Bronze Package?
The senior women advanced bronze package may be suitable for:
- Women aged 50 years and above who wish to monitor their overall health through regular preventive health check-ups.
- Postmenopausal women, as hormonal changes after menopause are associated with an increased risk of conditions such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders.
- Women experiencing persistent symptoms such as fatigue, low energy levels, unexplained weight changes, joint pain or stiffness, hair fall, or general weakness.
- Women with a family history of chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, thyroid disorders, arthritis, or certain cancers.
- Women with existing lifestyle or metabolic risk factors, such as obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or prediabetes, who require periodic health monitoring.
- Women with a history of vitamin or mineral deficiencies or those at risk of nutritional deficiencies due to ageing or dietary factors.
- Women advised by their doctor to undergo a comprehensive health assessment as part of routine monitoring or follow-up for existing medical conditions.
What Does This Package Detect?
The senior women advanced bronze package can help identify abnormalities across multiple aspects of health, including:
- Anaemia and other blood-related abnormalities through a complete blood count.
- Prediabetes and diabetes by assessing blood sugar levels.
- High cholesterol and abnormal lipid levels, which are risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
- Liver and kidney function abnormalities, which may indicate impaired organ function.
- Thyroid disorders, including an underactive or overactive thyroid.
- Vitamin and mineral deficiencies, including deficiencies of vitamin D, vitamin B12 and iron.
- Electrolyte imbalances, which can affect nerve, muscle, and heart function.
- Inflammation and autoimmune conditions, with markers that may support the evaluation of inflammatory disorders and rheumatoid arthritis when interpreted alongside clinical findings.
- Abnormal tumour marker levels (CA 15.3, CA 125, and CEA), which may support the evaluation and monitoring of certain health conditions when interpreted with your symptoms, medical history, and other diagnostic tests. These markers are not intended to diagnose or screen for cancer on their own.
- Urinary abnormalities, such as signs of urinary tract infections, kidney disorders, or other conditions that may require further evaluation.
Note: The results of this package should always be interpreted by a doctor in conjunction with your symptoms, medical history, physical examination, and, if required, additional diagnostic tests.
How to Prepare for the Women Advanced Bronze Package?
What to expect before the sample collection:
- Your doctor may recommend fasting for 8–12 hours before sample collection, as some tests included in the package are best performed in the fasting state.
- During the fasting period, you may drink plain water unless advised otherwise. Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours before the test, as these may temporarily affect certain test results.
- Inform your healthcare provider about any prescription medications, over-the-counter medicines, vitamin supplements, or herbal products you are taking, as some may influence the results of specific tests. Do not stop taking any prescribed medication unless your doctor specifically advises you to do so.
- If you have a fever, an ongoing infection, or have recently undergone surgery or a medical procedure, let your healthcare provider know, as these factors may affect the interpretation of certain test results.
What to expect during the sample collection:
Blood sample collection
- The sample collection process is simple and usually takes only a few minutes.
- A trained phlebotomist will visit your home at the scheduled time and will collect a blood sample from a vein in your arm using a sterile needle after cleaning the area with an antiseptic.
- You may experience a brief pinprick or mild discomfort when the needle is inserted, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.
- Once the blood sample has been collected, gentle pressure will be applied to the site, and a small bandage may be placed to minimise bleeding.
Urine sample collection
- You will also be asked to provide a urine sample in a sterile container. Before collecting the sample, you may clean the genital area well to prevent contamination.
- Collecting a midstream urine sample is preferred, which involves passing the first portion of urine into the toilet and collecting the middle portion in the container. This helps reduce contamination.
- During the entire process, ensure that you do not touch the inner portion of the container with your fingers.
- Once the sample is collected, securely close the container and hand it over to the phlebotomist.
Once both samples have been collected, they will be sent to the laboratory for analysis.
What to expect after the sample collection:
- You can resume normal diet, medications and activities soon after this test, unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
- Mild pain, bruising, or tenderness at the blood collection site may occur but typically resolves within a day or two without treatment.
- Once the analysis of your samples is completed, the reports will be uploaded on the PharmEasy platform, from where they can be downloaded.
- Your results will be reviewed by your doctor, who will interpret them along with your symptoms, medical history, and any other investigations before recommending further evaluation, treatment, or lifestyle modifications, if required.
Note: If you notice anything unusual at the puncture site, such as persistent bleeding, a rash, or pain, consult your healthcare provide

Liver function tests help assess the health of your liver, which plays an important role in metabolism, digestion, and detoxification. Regular monitoring becomes increasingly important with age, as conditions such as fatty liver disease, diabetes, obesity, and the long-term use of certain medications can affect liver function.
