Description
The Amino Acid Profile (35) is used for the diagnosis of metabolic disorders by measuring the levels of amino acids in the blood. The results help monitor the levels of amino acids in the body and diagnose inborn errors of metabolic diseases, like Maple syrup urine disease, urea cycle defects, phenylketonuria and Hartnup disease, which are caused by an imbalance in amino acid levels.
