Do you fall asleep in the middle of the day while doing something? You might be suffering from narcolepsy. Also known as ”sleep attacks”, in this condition you fall asleep without warning. Narcolepsy can also cause sleep paralysis – a condition where you can’t move after waking up.

  • You should exercise regularly to reduce stress levels.
  • Reduce sugar consumption and include more vegetables in your diet so that your body is nourished.
  • Don’t deviate from your sleeping schedule.
  • Love your cuppa? You need to cut down on it. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant, too much of it can make it difficult to fall asleep.
  • Avoid smoking. It can increase your risk of sleep apnea.
  • Eat light dinners. A heavy dinner can keep your digestive system busy that can impair your sleep.
