Take Okacet tablet whole with enough water, as prescribed by your doctor.

The appropriate dose for children depends on their age and weight. Do not give a child the 10 mg tablet without checking the recommended dose with a doctor.

Do not wait for symptoms to develop. Do not induce vomiting.

Histamine is a chemical produced in the body in response to allergies and causes itching, runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. Cetirizine blocks the H1 histamine receptor. By blocking histamine's action, cetirizine helps relieve allergy symptoms. It does not remove the underlying allergy or prevent every allergic reaction.
