Chaptex Lip Balm is a personal-care product used to moisturise dry, chapped lips and help protect them from ultraviolet exposure. It contains a combination of avobenzone, octinoxate and octocrylene for UV protection, D-panthenol and tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, to support the lip surface, and lanolin to soften it. The balm forms a moisturising layer that helps reduce water loss while its sunscreen ingredients filter ultraviolet rays. It is applied directly to the lips for external use only as directed.

About Chaptex

उपयोग

Dry or chapped lips: Moisturising ingredients soften rough, uncomfortable lips and help maintain their surface moisture during dry weather.
Sun protection for lips: The UV filters avobenzone, octinoxate and octocrylene help reduce ultraviolet exposure to the lips during outdoor activities.
Sun-related lip darkening: UV filters help protect lips from exposure that may contribute to further darkening, while moisturisers support a smoother appearance.

If you are allergic to any ingredient of this product, do not use Chaptex Lip Balm. Do not apply it to deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. Stop using it if marked swelling, blistering or severe irritation develops.

Skin irritation: Stinging, redness or itching may occur when the balm touches dry or cracked lips. Remove it and get medical advice if irritation is severe or does not settle.
Allergic reaction: Ingredients such as lanolin or sunscreen filters may cause a rash or swelling in sensitive people. Get emergency medical help for breathing difficulty or swelling of the face, lips or throat.

How Chaptex works

Chaptex Lip Balm coats the lips to reduce water loss and improve softness. The emollient ingredients lanolin, D-panthenol and tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, condition the lip surface. The sunscreen ingredients avobenzone, octinoxate and octocrylene absorb or filter ultraviolet rays, helping reduce sun-related dryness and darkening.
