Work experience

Dr. Kamalesh M. Bhatt is a pharmacology specialist with experience in clinical pharmacology, medical education, therapeutics, and drug utilization research. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Swaminarayan University. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar and GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar, where he was actively involved in undergraduate medical education, clinical pharmacology teaching, and academic training. He also served as a Senior Resident at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar and as a Junior Resident at Shri M. P. Shah Government Medical College during his M.D. training in Pharmacology. Earlier in his career, Dr. Bhatt worked as a Medical Officer at MDIndia Healthcare Services (TPA) Pvt. Ltd., Kalarav Children Hospital, PHC Sardarpur, and Sterling Cancer Hospitals, gaining hands-on experience in patient care, hospital management, oncology support, and healthcare administration. His core areas of expertise include clinical pharmacology, prescription auditing, rational drug use, cancer pharmacotherapy, and medical education.
