is calpol 650 safe during pregnancy

Is Calpol 650 safe during pregnancy? I’ve been having mild fever and body pain, and my doctor suggested it, but I just want to confirm if it’s okay to take while pregnant.

    Dear Reader,
Congrats on your pregnancy. Experiencing fever or body pain during pregnancy can be worrying, and it’s natural to seek clarity before taking any medicine. Calpol 650 contains paracetamol, a commonly used ingredient for relieving mild fever and discomfort. Since your doctor has already suggested it based on your condition, it is important to know that it should be taken under medical guidance during pregnancy. Every pregnancy is unique, so it’s important to follow the exact dose and frequency advised by your doctor and avoid taking more than recommended. If your symptoms change or persist, or if you notice anything unusual, reaching out to your doctor for further guidance is always the safest approach.

Follow these 3 golden rules during pregnancy-

    1. Never take any medicine, supplement or herbal product without your doctor’s advice
    2. Never ignore any unusual symptom, and search the internet for answers – consult your doctor and follow their advice on everything, including diet and lifestyle.
    3. Do not miss prescribed medicines, supplements, and routine health check-ups with your doctor.

Wishing good health to you and baby.
