If the sugar levels remain high even after taking prescribed medication, then it means that the medicine you are taking is not sufficient and you must consult your diabetologist with the record of your blood sugar levels. Your doctor will adjust the dosage of your medicines.
Diabetes is basically a metabolic disorder in which the metabolism of glucose is affected. Therefore, I would also suggest exercising daily. Exercising daily increases the overall blood supply in the body and enhances metabolism.
Also, couple it with healthy dietary changes like minimising the use of sugar-rich products and you will see a difference.
