Highlights

After completing her super-specialization in Glaucoma from Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, she worked for 1.5 years at Netaji Eye Hospital, Purulia, West Bengal. At present, she is the Director and Consultant at her privately owned and NABH pre-accredited eye hospital, Nayan Jyoti Eye Care Centre, Kolkata. Besides being deeply involved in clinical work, she also takes an interest in academics and has 3 publications to her credit.

AWARDS:

• Presented the Nehru Medal by Mr Rahul Gandhi in 2013
• Presented the gold medal for obtaining the highest marks in Pediatrics Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2014.
• Presented the gold medal for being the university topper in MBBS in 2014
• Guest speaker for several national ophthalmological organizations and conferences like All India Ophthalmological Society (2022), Women Ophthalmological Society (2016), Uttar Pradesh Ophthalmological Society (2015), Oculoplastics Association of India (2016), West Bengal Ophthalmological Society (2022) and Ophtha Eva (2023).
• Presented poster presentation at Asia-pacific Academy of Ophthalmology conference in Bangkok in 2019
