Is Zerodol P safe in pregnancy?

Is Zerodol-P safe during pregnancy? My cousin took it once for back pain before realising she might be pregnant, and now she’s worried. Does anyone know if it’s harmful or if she should consult her doctor?

    Dear Reader,

One should not take any medicine or even herbal products or supplements during pregnancy without consulting a doctor.

If your cousin took just one tablet accidentally before realising she might be pregnant, it’s unlikely to cause harm. A single dose usually doesn’t cause problems, but it’s still best for her to inform her doctor. The doctor may review her pregnancy stage, check for any concerns, and advise what to do next.

Going forward, she should avoid taking Zerodol-P or any NSAID without medical advice during pregnancy. If she needs pain relief, paracetamol alone is the preferred and safer choice and should be taken as and when advised by the doctor.

So, to reassure her, accidental use once is usually not dangerous, but she should still mention it to her doctor to be on the safe side and get proper guidance.

    Wishing you good health.
