Type-1 diabetes is a condition where the pancreas cannot make insulin or makes very little insulin. Insulin is a hormone that enables sugar into the cells and helps utilise it as energy.
Currently, there is no permanent solution for Type 1 diabetes, but you can control the sugar levels. It can only be controlled with insulin injections. Keep track of your sugar levels, include some exercise in your routine and make a balanced diet plan that will help you maintain your sugar level. I would suggest consulting a nutritionist for the same.
You can also test your blood sugar level at home with a glucometer. Record your fasting and post meals blood glucose levels. Annual health checkups, eye tests, dental checkups are also recommended.
Regular follow-ups with a diabetologist are very important as your insulin dosage may require some adjustment from time to time.
Stay positive and stress-free. You can also join a community on social media for understanding diabetes management and discussing your problems with doctors and other people having similar conditions.
