Hello, there are many medicines available for the treatment of Type 1 diabetes mellitus. But the line of treatment depends upon your body proportion, body composition, and blood sugar levels. Regular exercises and a well-controlled diet are also keystones to maintaining your blood sugar levels.
As you may be aware that Type 1 diabetes mellitus means insulin-dependent diabetes, insulin injections are usually prescribed. This type of diabetes mellitus is genetic and causes a lack of production of insulin hormone from the pancreas.
So, the best option is to consult a diabetologist for your treatment. The other option is to consult a dietician as the diet also helps to maintain the sugar levels to some extent.
