The main problem with diabetics is that the wound healing capacity in a few cases becomes significantly poor.
Generally, people taking insulin therapy (mostly Type 1 cases) have to take extra precautions while waxing. Patients with Type 2 diabetes can go for waxing without any problem.
However, precautions like hygiene maintenance, using good quality wax, which melts at low temperature, opting for the best quality waxing products and moisturising the skin after waxing must be taken in both Type 1 and Type 2 cases to avoid skin irritation or injury.
