I have dandruff, and I have previously used 8x shampoo. This time I was prescribed Revilus Kz lotion. Do I have to apply it over dry hair or wet hair? How long do I need to keep it on for?

There are many treatment options for dandruff. Anti-dandruff shampoos are safe for long-term use. It is recommended to change the shampoo, especially in cases where dandruff is repeatedly occurring. In the initial period, you can use the shampoo twice a week.
Anti-dandruff lotions are of two types. Some of them are overnight solutions. However, lotions with ketoconazole or zinc pyrithione are generally recommended for use, just like shampoos.
After wetting the hair, the lotion has to be applied over the scalp. It is massaged lightly to create a lather. Following this, the product must be allowed to remain on the scalp for about five minutes. After this, you can rinse it well with water.
It is advisable to continue regular maintenance with an anti-dandruff shampoo once a week to prevent a recurrence.
