Is Naxdom 500 safe during pregnancy?

• Domperidone is not routinely recommended in pregnancy unless prescribed specifically.

What she can safely do now:

• Tell her doctor about the dose she took and how many days she used it.
• Her doctor may switch her to safer migraine medicines, like paracetamol, which is usually preferred during pregnancy.

In short, if she only took a few tablets before knowing she was pregnant, it’s unlikely to cause harm, but she should stop Naxdom 500 and consult her doctor to discuss safer alternatives for migraine during pregnancy.
