Does Orofer XT cause constipation?

Does Orofer XT cause constipation? I started taking it recently and noticed my bowel movements have become slower. Just wondering if this is a common side effect or something to worry about.

    Dear Reader,

Orofer XT is an iron supplement. Iron can slow bowel movements, so it’s common to experience constipation while taking it. Some people also notice darker stools or mild stomach discomfort, which is usually harmless.

A few simple steps can make things easier:

    • Drink more water throughout the day
    • Include more fibre, like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains
    • Moving around regularly, even light walking, helps keep things going

These small changes are often enough, but if your constipation becomes too uncomfortable, keeps coming back, or you start noticing pain or anything unusual, it’s best to consult a doctor. They can guide you properly or adjust the supplement if needed.

    Wishing you good health.
