    Dear Reader,

Pan 40 is commonly used to manage or prevent acidity-related symptoms such as heartburn, stomach discomfort, and acid reflux. It works by reducing the acid your stomach produces, helping your food settle better, and relieving that burning or heavy feeling.

Many people also feel relief from acid-related stomach pain, because lowering the acid irritation often calms the pain. However, if your pain is due to another cause, such as an infection, stones, or severe gastritis, this medication alone may not be sufficient.

If your symptoms keep coming back or worsening, or if you notice unusual discomfort (severe pain, vomiting, black stools, weight loss), it’s better to talk to your doctor so they can check whether anything else needs to be addressed.

For normal acidity and gas-related issues, this medication usually works well when taken before food. Never take pantoprazole tablets for longer than prescribed, as unregulated use may affect gut health and absorption of various nutrients.

    Wishing you good health.

    Dear Reader,

Pan 40 contains Pantoprazole, which should be taken during pregnancy only when a doctor has recommended it. Many pregnant women develop acidity because of hormonal changes and pressure on the stomach, and doctors commonly advise other measures to manage acidity. Pantoprazole is prescribed when other measures prove insufficient.

Plz follow your doctor’s advice. If you notice anything unusual, persistent stomach pain, vomiting, dizziness, or if the acidity becomes very severe, please contact your doctor again. Also, if you are in early pregnancy or have any other medical conditions, it’s always worth checking with your doctor before taking any medicine or supplements.

    Wishing you good health.

    Dear Reader,

Pan 40 is typically taken once daily, empty stomach, preferably before breakfast. Taking it twice a day on your own isn’t generally advised, because it’s a strong acid-control medicine, and doubling the dose without guidance may not be safe for everyone.

If your acidity is unusually bad today, you can try simple measures like having light meals, avoiding spicy/oily food, drinking water, or taking an antacid (the mild, chewable/liquid type). But before taking a second Pan 40, it’s best to speak with your doctor, especially if this happens often. They can tell you whether a twice-daily dose is suitable for you or if another treatment is needed.

If you have severe pain, repeated vomiting, black stools, or chest discomfort, please get medical help immediately.

    Wishing you good health.

    Dear Reader,
It’s completely understandable to double-check the dose when it comes to your child’s health. Calpol 650 contains paracetamol, and while older adolescents may sometimes be advised doses similar to those for adults, the most appropriate dose for a 15-year-old can depend on factors such as body weight, overall health, and symptom severity. Because dosing for younger individuals often follows weight-based guidance, it’s best to confirm with your doctor before continuing the 650 mg strength. Your doctor can help ensure that the dose is suitable and safe for your son’s needs, or suggest a different dosage if required.

Wishing your son a steady and comfortable recovery, and wishing you both good health.

    Dear Reader,
Feeling uneasy after taking a medicine can be uncomfortable, and it’s good that you’re paying attention to how your body reacts. Calpol 650 contains paracetamol, and while many people tolerate it well, some may experience mild symptoms such as nausea, stomach discomfort, or bloating. These reactions can vary from person to person and may be influenced by factors such as taking the tablet on an empty stomach, dehydration, other medicines or an underlying condition. If the uneasiness settles on its own, it may simply be a temporary response. However, if the discomfort persists, becomes bothersome, or recurs when you take it again, it would be best to discuss this with your doctor so they can help you manage the symptoms.

Wishing you good health and comfort ahead.

    Dear Reader,
Congrats on your pregnancy. Experiencing fever or body pain during pregnancy can be worrying, and it’s natural to seek clarity before taking any medicine. Calpol 650 contains paracetamol, a commonly used ingredient for relieving mild fever and discomfort. Since your doctor has already suggested it based on your condition, it is important to know that it should be taken under medical guidance during pregnancy. Every pregnancy is unique, so it’s important to follow the exact dose and frequency advised by your doctor and avoid taking more than recommended. If your symptoms change or persist, or if you notice anything unusual, reaching out to your doctor for further guidance is always the safest approach.

Follow these 3 golden rules during pregnancy-

    1. Never take any medicine, supplement or herbal product without your doctor’s advice
    2. Never ignore any unusual symptom, and search the internet for answers – consult your doctor and follow their advice on everything, including diet and lifestyle.
    3. Do not miss prescribed medicines, supplements, and routine health check-ups with your doctor.

Wishing good health to you and baby.

    Dear Reader,

It’s a common question, and you’re right to notice the similarities! Calpol 650 and Dolo 650 are different brand names for the same medication.

Both tablets contain the same active ingredient, Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen), at a dose of 650 milligrams (mg). Paracetamol is a widely used medication that acts as both an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work in the body by blocking the chemical signals that cause pain and fever.

The main differences between Calpol 650 and Dolo 650 are the manufacturers (Calpol 650 is produced by GlaxoSmithKline, while Dolo 650 is made by Micro Labs), the inactive ingredients (such as colorings, coatings, or binding agents), and their commercial branding. From a therapeutic perspective, they are considered equivalent for treating fever and pain.

Always ensure that you do not take multiple products containing Paracetamol at the same time to avoid the risk of an accidental overdose.

    Wishing you good health.
