I am taking Metrogyl 400 for loose motion, but now I feel a metallic taste and nausea. Is it a normal side effect?

I’m taking Metrogyl 400 for loose motion, and since yesterday, I’ve been feeling a metallic taste in my mouth and slight nausea. Is this a normal side effect, or should I stop taking it?

Is Metrogyl 400 used for loose motion? I was given this tablet for diarrhoea and stomach upset, but I’m not sure how it really helps. Does it stop loose motion or just treat the infection causing it?
