Renvela 800 MG Description

Renvela 800mg tablet contains Sevelamer as the active molecule. This medicine is used to reduce the blood levels of phosphate in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis. Upon entry i

nto the digestive tract, sevelamer binds to phosphate and prevents its absorption from the digestive tract. This helps to reduce blood phosphate levels. Renvela 800mg tablet is available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration recommended by your doctor. Sevelamer can hamper the absorption and effectiveness of other medicines if taken together. Therefore, you need to adjust your other medications accordingly. Talk to your doctor for more clarity. Renvela tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or have a bowel obstruction. Before taking this tablet, you must inform your doctor about your current health problems and the use of medications and supplements, if any.
