Mode of Action of Prium Cr 25 MG
How Does It Work?
Prium Cr is a type of SSRI medicine. SSRI refers to Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter produced in our bodies. This chemical messenger carries signals between nerve cells in your brain. Serotonin is usually reabsorbed by the cells after they carry the message. This process is known as reuptake and results in a reduction in serotonin levels in our system.
Low serotonin levels can lead to depression and other mood disorders. Selective Serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) obstruct the reabsorption of serotonin by the cells.
This leads to an increase in serotonin levels in your system. Increased serotonin levels could result in improved mood, hunger, sleep, energy level and an interest in day to day activities. It may also reduce your fear, panic attacks, anxiety and unwanted thoughts....
