Medical Description
Orofer XT tablet contains a combination of vitamin B9 (Folic acid) and iron, two crucial components the body requires for optimal health. Iron is essential for the production of haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells responsible for carrying oxygen. Folic Acid is a type of vitamin B that is also important for the production of red blood cells and for maintaining a healthy nervous system.
Ferium XT tablet, Fericip XT tablet, Richar CR tablet, Hemfer XT tablet and Cheri XT tablet are some other medicines containing a combination of vitamin B9 (Folic acid) and iron. Dietary supplements are intended to supplement the diets of some people and should not be a substitute for a well-balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Take Orofer XT Tablet precisely as directed by your doctor. It should be taken with water. The tablets should not be crushed or chewed. Patients with iron overload, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis (increased iron absorption) and hemolytic anaemia (low red blood cell count) should not take Orofer XT Tablet. In patients with peptic ulcers, regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis, it should be used with caution. If you have any allergic reactions while taking this medication, contact your doctor.
