Metrogyl DG Forte gel is used for the treatment of mouth infections. Metrogyl DG Forte gel is a combination of two active ingredients - metronidazole and chlorhexidine. The combined action of these t

wo medicines is effective against a wide range of oral infection-causing germs and is therefore useful for the treatment of a variety of mouth infections. Metrogyl DG Forte gel is meant for topical use only. You may rarely experience side effects like dryness of the mouth, irritation, burning sensation, metallic taste and staining of the teeth. These side effects are usually mild and will go away in some time. however, if the side effects persist or if your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately. This mouth gel is not to be used in children less than 6 years of age. Use it exactly as directed by your doctor.
