Hopace 5 mg Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine used to control blood pressure and relieve symptoms of a heart attack. It has also been found beneficial in slowing down the changes seen in heart f

ailure when given for a longer duration. The tablet contains ramipril as its active ingredient, which belongs to a group of medicines called ACE inhibitors(angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors). ACE inhibitors are antihypertensives(controls blood pressure). It may be used alone or in combination with other blood pressure medicines(diuretics) or blood cholesterol-lowering agents. Hopace 5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. The dose and duration of medicine are decided by the doctor. The common side effects of Hopace 5 mg Tablet are dry cough, fall in blood pressure, hyperkalemia(increase in serum potassium levels), skin allergy(rashes), headache, nausea, and upset bowel. Take the Hopace 5 mg Tablet as directed by the doctor.
Swallow Hopace 5 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, chew, or crush it.
Hopace 5 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.
For optimal pharmacological effects, take Hopace 5 mg Tablet at a fixed time every day for the prescribed duration.

Aliskiren(blood pressure medicine of the class direct renin inhibitor) in patients with diabetes or in patients with renal impairment.
