How Does It Work?
Rosuvastatin acts on the fat receptors in the liver, which helps in their faster metabolism, thereby reducing cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. In addition, Clopidogrel and aspirin act on the blood, preventing them from clotting and reducing events of stroke and heart attacks....
Directions for Use of Consivas Gold 20mg Strip Of 10 Capsules
- Take the medication for the duration and dose as prescribed by the doctor
- Do not chew or break the capsule in half
- Take it with or without food as advised by the doctor
- Swallow the capsule as a whole with a glass of water
Interactions of Consivas Gold 20mg Strip Of 10 Capsules
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of rosuvastatin and atazanavir, ritonavir increases the effect of rosuvastatin
- Co-administration of rosuvastatin and gemfibrozil increases the effect of rosuvastatin
- When rosuvastatin and ezetimibe are taken together, it increases the effect of rosuvastatin
- Clopidogrel with oral anticoagulants may increases the risk of bleeding
- Rifampicin causes increased effect of clopidogrel
- Omeprazole and esomeprazole, fluvoxamine, fluoxetine, moclobemide, voriconazole, fluconazole, ticlopidine, carbamazepine and efavirenz affect the efficiacy of clopidogrel
- Methotrexate and acetylsalicylic acid, increase toxicity of methotrexate
- Acetylsalicylic acid impairs the excretion of digoxin and lithium by kidneys
- Aspirin can affect the efficacy of heparin and other anticoagulant agent
