Uses of Betnesol 0.1% Eye Drops 5ml

To treat redness, swelling, irritation (inflammation) of eyes or ears caused due to bacterial infections.

Contraindications of Betnesol 0.1% Eye Drops 5ml

  • If you are allergic to any component of this medicine.
  • If you have viral, fungal or any serious condition of the eye causing pus discharge or ulcers.
  • If you have any problem in your eye, which has not been diagnosed by your doctor yet.
  • If the pressure inside your eye is raised (glaucoma).
  • If your eardrum is perforated.
  • If you are suffering from viral or fungal infections of the respiratory system or sinuses.

Directions for Use of Betnesol 0.1% Eye Drops 5ml

  • Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
  • Follow directions carefully & do not miss doses.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
  • Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper. Keep the dropper clean.
  • Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
  • Use the exact number of drops recommended.
  • Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze (eyedrop).
  • While using the drops for the ear, keep your head tilted for 2-3 minutes to let the drops soak in the ear. Repeat for another ear if required after 5-10 minutes.
