Overview
H3T Profile results help to diagnose transmissible infections like HIV and Hepatitis. It also assesses the level of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone that evaluates thyroid health.
H3T profile includes an HCV Antibody test that detects Hepatitis C in the blood. H3T profile report can depict the result as Reactive or Non-reactive. A non-reactive result is interpreted as the absence of infection, whereas a reactive result would mean the presence of infection and would need further evaluation.
Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) is also assessed in the H3T Profile. Positive results will indicate the presence of infection. H3T profile also tests for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) I and II. The test indicates the presence or absence of the virus, thus confirming the infection. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) is also evaluated in the H3T profile. The levels of TSH can indicate any Thyroid Disorder.
