Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas in our body, which acts by delivering glucose molecules to the cells for the release of energy<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/ency\/article\/000305.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1<\/a><\/sup>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Type 1 and type 2 are\u00a0the two\u00a0major types of diabetes.\u00a0In type 1 diabetes, the body\u00a0does not\u00a0produce insulin at all.
