The ingredients of kutajarishta are kutaja (<em>Holarrhena antidysenterica<\/em>), guda (jaggery), Jala (water), draksha (<em>Vitis vinifera<\/em>), kashmarya (<em>Gmelina Arborea<\/em>), madhuka pushpa (<em>Madhuka indica<\/em>), and dhatakipushpa (<em>Woodfordia fruticosa<\/em>)<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/ijrap.net\/admin\/php\/uploads\/2422_pdf.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2<\/a><\/sup>. The antidiarrhoeal property of kutaja may be due to its antiparasitic activity against the parasites <em>G. lambia <\/em>and <em>E. hystolytica<\/em> that cause diarrhoea<sup><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ijrap.net\/admin\/php\/uploads\/1402_pdf.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information is insufficient and requires more human studies to support the potential uses of kutajarishta in diarrhoea.
