3. Tulsi Leaves:

Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil and has many health benefits. Tulsi has an anti-bacterial property and this activity can act as an effective oral disinfectant for killing germs inside your mouth.

This can help relieve the symptoms of mouth ulcers. It also reduces the acidic environment inside the mouth hand thus reduces the damage caused by the acid. Chew 5 – 6 clean and fresh tulsi leaves in the morning and drink water over them. Try following this pattern for a minimum of 2 or 3 times.

4. Honey:

Every house will have honey in the kitchen. It is used for many purposes – morning drink, for breakfast, for medication etc. For ages, honey has been part of our daily life because of its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

A study done in 2014 observed that honey is significantly effective in reducing the size, pain, and soreness of mouth ulcers. Apply little honey daily on the affected area 3 to 4 times a day. Make sure, you buy unfiltered raw honey and avoid pasteurized one which kills most of the nutrients.
